This is where it all started. My first electric guitar after starting Myka Guitars. I showed this guitar the 27th Annual Handmade Musical Instrument Exhibit on the Marylhurst University campus just outside of Portland, OR. I got some interest from local players and the rest is history. Part of my private collection.
I started with little more than a vision and an endless optimism. When people tell you how much you need to start a business show them this. Just look at that bandsaw! I built my first dozen or so guitars with that and some hand tools. You need some basic skill, but more importantly, the ability to visualize the guitar so you know what to do.
